June is the month when our mission really comes to life. Temperatures rise, needs increase, and the community supporting us grows along with them.
The milestone of the month
In June we reached a small but great goal: 7,500 meals distributed, 140 dogs followed by our volunteers, and new stations activated in areas where the need was most urgent. Every number represents a paw, a tail, a gaze that received attention and care.
Faces that accompanied us
We'd like to introduce Gatti, one of the many stories that moved us this month. When we first met her, she was underweight, frightened, and with a dull coat: she had been living for weeks near an abandoned farmhouse, without water or shelter from the sun. Today, thanks to the work of volunteers and the support of those who chose Help the Paws, she has regained weight, trusts people who care for her again, and is waiting to move in with a foster family. This is proof that, together, we can make a difference — one dog at a time.
Our new partnerships
This month we began collaborating with the shelter Zampe in Cammino, a local organisation that shares our same vision. Together we will be able to cover areas that had previously gone without, offering regular meals and basic veterinary assistance to more dogs.
